"We're going out for dinner but also want to investigate the glamorously low-lit Palm Court where we can have tea or champagne. It's a fabulously ornate glass-domed rotunda with gleaming gilt chandeliers; the walls are a deep red and hung with massive portraits. In a gilded minstrel's gallery above, a harpist is playing. It's a perfect venue for a romantic tryst.."
